Wingmaster 870 trigger assmbly question

I'm trying to figure out if I'm missing a "Trigger Plate Pin Detent Spring" on the front small drive pin sleeve. There is one there but both ends are slotted to accept a detent spring. The exploded parts drawing from the manual only shows one.

  it should only have one 'd' spring (or clip)
