$75! You came out of that deal, smelling like a rose. Parted out, they are likely worth at least 5 times that. We have no way to ascertain there functionality, or safety over the net? Your going to have to take them to a competent gunsmith for that. Which is going to cost you.

Unless you have really fallen in love with them. Put them on the auction, for a quick profit. Sell them on a "AS IS", basis. Let the winning buyer(s), pay the gunsmith.

Good score. I put a basket case 66 together once, it was a real challenge. Bolt handle appears available for $11 http://www.gunpartscorp.com/Manufacturers/Remington-33454/Rifles-37895/Nylon66-39587.htm

Do the numbers match the 03A3, and is the serial # greater than 800,000? http://m1903.com/03rcvrfail/ An unfitted parts gun might be very unsafe to shoot. Head space check is cheap insurance.

Nat Ord's have a commercial cast receiver assembled with used USGI parts. It should be considered to be unsafe to fire.

R-S's advice is sound; you could probably get more for the parts, but most of us would have to pay a gunsmith to take it apart. You may not want to fool with that.

EDIT: Some bayonets were made with a 10" blade, some were longer & were cut down to 10". Without photos, no opinion.

Thanks for the info guys I will check the gun out more closely. It came with a bayonet that is marked AFH which I found out is American Fork & Hoe one of the companies that made bayonets for the 1903. It is a 10" model...does that add anything if I part it out or sell it..thanks guys always some great info here..bull
