I have a Rockola M1 Carbine with the barrel stamped.

Can't find any reference to it.

Trying to put together an M1 carbine.While treading barrel into receiver it stops about an eighth of a turn short of the proper position. Its a winchester parkerized barrel and a regular Inland receiver. Not being a Gunsmith, I was wondering, what I would have to do,to get the barrel an receiver put together correctly? an headspacing also not sure about. thanks for any information. Universal, Vulcan from the 60's. It was in 44 mag. Never was aware that they made one in 30 carbine?

Universal made a semi-auto carbine, in .256 Winchester. It was known as the "Ferret". To the best of my knowledge, there wasn't a pump action version. But anything is possible? Production was mainly back in the 60's. During the same time frame, as they were making the .44 mag Vulcan.
