sounds like a PARTS gun .AUTO ORDINANCE Never built 1911 Pistols under Government contract . They did however built Clones. Price could be anywhere upward to $500.00 depending on Who put all the parts together May only worth what parts are good. 0 -
its stamped auto ordinance ON FRAME, the slide is stamped US Army and the only wear on surface is carry holster wear. the parkerizing is at least a 90% over all its NRA 90% 0 -
Auto-Ordnance currently offers a clone of the USGI M1911 pistol stamped "US ARMY" on the slide, with MSRP of $571.
In 90% condition, it might sell for up to $400.
Photos are always helpful when guesstimating the value of used guns.

I sold that same US Army model last year for $450. It was in 95% condition.
It shot good, ate any type of ammo, considering it is a copy of a war time gun.0 -
if i could i would post a picture, btw barrel has a date on it of 1943 0
