  Bert, in a previous thread about the Winchester threaded barrel, would you mind telling what the give away is to it being non factory?
  Is a real one marked in some manner?

  I have my doubts that a 134-year old Winchester is "unfired". It may not have been fired in a very long time, but it is highly unlikely that it has never been fired.

  There are no unfired Winchesters.They were test-fired before shipping.
