Value of Smith & Wesson Model 2 Army Revoler
Hi,
I have a Smith & Wesson Model 2 Army Revolver, early type 3, and I was wondering whether anyone could help me determine its' worth. It has a fair amount of scratches and wear on it.
SN: 4208
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Per Flayderman's, "Antique Condition Standards". It's in VG condition. SN #, puts it into early Civil War production. He prices it @ $1,000.
My experience with early small caliber cartridge revolvers, in the condition that yours is in. Is that they are hard to sell. I feel that $1000 is over optimistic. If somebody offered me $700. I would grab the money and run.0 -
Thank you Rufe-Snow, that's good to know. 0
