Mauser Stock ID Help
I acquired 3 of these and although I was there trying to add knives to my collection, these gunstocks seemed reasonably priced so I purchased them in a lot, I believe to be a Mauser but need some help with the type whether a Spanish, Romanian or German? and year it was made or generall time frame it was made is that a ramrod? or a gun cleaning rod? present?

Cleaning rod SEGMENT; not Romanian. 0 -
Given the wrap around handguard that encompasses the rear sight, not German. My wager would be Turkish or some variation of South American. Still, any large ring Mauser should fit it. 0 -
I'd say Turkish model 38. The front band with bayonet lug is typical, for those 0 -
Agreed; most likely a Turk 38. Front band/lug are is either that or a swapped in part from a Czech Mauser. 0 -
As stated above, it could well be a Turkish Model 38 stock set.
Are there ANY markings on the stock; a cartouche, perhaps?(I ask because I am searching for a Brazilian carbine Mauser stock).0 -
Turk: the bands & takedown hole is a dead giveaway. 0
