Stevens mod. 66B 22 safety problems

Bought a pretty clean old Stevens "Buckhorn" 22 LR for $100.00

This is the model where the safety knob twist on end of bolt.

fired it a few times and safety knob turns on it's own, and disables rifle.

I turn it back to fire, and it will move again after 3-4 rounds are fired.

Any ideas? or how to disassemble bolt.

I did take a bolt from an identical model, and tried a few shots in this rifle, and it works fine.

Would appreciate any information.

  I couldn't find a good schematic. It sounds like a ball detent isn't working, could be the spring or the notch is bad if it has that type of system.
  
  Close inspection of the bolt is necessary to figure out to take it apart. A hand lens will help to find pins that are buffed into a hard to see fit.
