Value of Colt SAA .357 early 2nd Gen
Hi,
I have a Colt Army Single Action .357, early 2nd gen with a 4 3/4 barrel and I was wondering whether anyone could help me determine its' worth. It is in great condition with the exception of a small scratch under the barrel. I'm in the process of having it evaluated but I welcome input from a variety of sources.
SN: 28788SA
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not to be smug or anything,,but the real value would be realized right here on GunBroker moreso than anybody local. Put it up at a dollar start and you will get the most value. Items like that attract attention more than a common item whereas the dollar start might not work. Been here buying and selling items for 10 or so years and 99% of the time, it all works out- 0 -
You have a popular barrel length but not the most popular caliber for a Colt SAA. Along with the scratches on the cylinder and underside of the barrel, it's obvious the frame screws have been hit with a badly-fitting screwdriver.
I would guess it would sell in the $1,100-$1,300 range.0 -
I agree with Spider Made 1960 but 357 will hurt rather then add Value. 0 -
Since it can be shipped to a C&R licensee, that could increase the selling price by several hundred $.

Thank you all very much for your replies! 0 -
given the popularity of that caliber with SASS shooters,i'm not so sure the caliber is a detriment..not a huge one anyway. The scratches are a bigger problem with value, imho.
I agree with the 1100-1300.00 range, leaning closer to the lower figure.
imho,ymmv,etc.0
