I had a 59, years ago. With the aluminum receiver and fiberglass coated steel barrel, it was a pleasure to carry. Not so much to shoot, even though the semi-auto mechanism absorbed a lot of the recoil. Hard to envision it being used as a pigeon/skeet gun? For extended firing in any sort of competition.

It was a better grade wood and internals were honed, ect. according to what I have read,,and the word pigeon above the serial number..Not much info on them, just wondering about it...
