Winchester 59 pigeon 12 gauge
Ok, I have one and the wood looks little better with some grain on it than my regular 59. And it says Pigeon where it is supposed to. NO grip cap though, is it possible that it left the factory that way? And would it letter? Its the only one that I have seen and was wondering but not much on the net. THANKS

I had a 59, years ago. With the aluminum receiver and fiberglass coated steel barrel, it was a pleasure to carry. Not so much to shoot, even though the semi-auto mechanism absorbed a lot of the recoil. Hard to envision it being used as a pigeon/skeet gun? For extended firing in any sort of competition. 0 -
It was a better grade wood and internals were honed, ect. according to what I have read,,and the word pigeon above the serial number..Not much info on them, just wondering about it... 0 -
Hello Grasshopper double click on my user name and seen me a personal email with your email address . I have a friend BOBSKI that used to be a member here and really knew a lot about the model 50 Pigeon and model 59 Pigeon. It will be Monday before I can contact him 0
