    Remington determined that they had manufactured a faulty trigger. Here is a part of the recall and link to the full document:

    quote:PRODUCT SAFETY WARNING AND RECALL NOTICE

    Remington Arms Company, LLC ("Remington") is voluntarily recalling Remington Model 700T and Model SevenT rifles which were manufactured from May 1, 2006 through April 9, 2014 and which have an X-Mark Pror ("XMPr") trigger. Rifles manufactured after April 9, 2014 are not subject to recall.

    The link contains a method to check your serial number to verify if your rifle is affected.

    Nononsense, Thank you for the information to the link I appreciate you taking the time. My Rem. 700 CDL was purchased in late December 2004 and does not have the XMP trigger so I guess I'm good to go.
