Help ID a Receiver Sight
Picked up a box of assorted reloading and gun parts stuff and this Williams receiver sight was included. I've never seen anything like this, can't ID it from Williams web site so I've begun to think it's had the aperture taken out and some kind of Bubba piece put in it's place.

The receiver site body is flat on the mounting arm with holes spaced about 0.40" apart with a length of 1.8" while the aperture bracket is curved on the inside. Reminiscent of a williams sight I had for an M1 carbine years ago. But, the plastic two piece holder for the peep is a new one on me, it moves back and forth with the windage screw, has two hex head knurled screws that tighten up to secure something in the hole but ............................
Anyone got any other ideas ?
Thanks

Dan, fixed your pics. What's the diameter of the hole in the bubba piece? Looks like a home made mount for a lazer?

Hadn't even thought about a laser in place of the peep but that would make sense. The hole in the plastic "aperture mount" is almost exactly 0.281" which would be about 9/32". I've seen lasers that look like small pen lights, maybe someone jury rigged this to hold something like that.
Makes sense to me, thanks for the input.
