Date of build 1894 Marlin

Iv'e looked up on several web sites on Marlin dates of manufacture for my 32-20 Marlin serial no. 408,742 but most end at 300,000 and start again in the 50's anyone know or can give me a web site that goes higher than the ones I've checked? thanks in advance

  As I recall there is a gap in Marlin manufacture dates due to records being lost/destroyed in a fire. IIRC it affects firearms manufactured between 1900 and 1920, the Marlin forum can certainly narrow that down.
