browning sweet 16 barrel
does any original belgium browning sweet 16 barrels not have the holes in the barrel ring, i had always thought they all had holes but several people on e bay are selling the barrels without holes in ring as sweet 16 barrels and getting big prices for them, are people getting duped

To the best of my knowledge the A-5 is just that. If a Sweet 16 it will be so engraved on the receiver. Otherwise the barrels are no different.
This should hold true for all "modern" A-5's but will not be true for the older models with the safety in front of the trigger.0 -
As I recall the later A5 16's were all Sweet 16's and had the holes. The early guns were not Sweet 16's and did not have the holes. Not sure about the interchangeability of the early and late barrels. 0
