Colt Combat Python

Is there any roll stamps or other markings on a Colt "Combat Python" BESIDES on the three inch barrel?

  DESIGNATING IT as a "Combat Python" and besides a Colt factory letter or documentation from Lew Horton...any OTHER stampings or markings on the gun itselfpii

  As far as I know, one lot of the three inch guns were the only "Combat Pythons." The name not applied to any other barrel length that I know of.
  
  The 4 inch was advertised as, but not marked "Police Python."

  Which is why modern "special editions" without the original box, end label, & accessories, or identifiable SN, may not sell for a premium; they are too easy to "assemble".
  
  For a number of years, Colt made extra barrels for special editions & commemoratives, then sold them after a few years to Gun Parts Corp.
