Glock Trigger Reset
Does resetting the trigger on a Glock cause the firearm any damage over time?

Resetting the trigger is a normal part of the gun cycling when firing. There is, of course, ordinary wear from ANY use of the gun, but Glocks should (and do) go through at LEAST tens of thousands of rounds without the triggers wearing out.
If you're talking about the "fast reset" that people do where you manually limit the trigger rebound so it moves as little as possible to make a faster next shot, that's doesn't add any extra wear. If anything it reduces wear, by limiting travel/friction.
In short I dont think you have anything to worry about. Your finger is probably going to wear out before the Glock trigger does, and even if you did somehow wear out a Glock trigger, the mechanisms only use a few parts and are relatively inexpensive to replace entirely.0 -
