gen 4 glock 19

does any one know if the newer gen 4 glocks still have a spring problem??

No comment from personal experience, but Glock says they have addressed this issue, and I'd imagine they probably aren't lying.

a neighbor of mine bought a gen 4 19 just after they came out , he never had a problem with it.
When he heard about the reported problems he called Glock and they sent him a new recoil system. And after installation and several thousand more rounds , still has never had a problem with it.
I would buy one but I already have a 26 and use 19 mags with the grip adapters, other wise I'd buy a gen 4 19 and not worry about it.

I issued 50 of them to our agency members in January and have had no issues with any of them.
