iver johnson revolver advice
Im looking at a 3rd model iver johnson hammerless revolver locally for a steal, however it appears somewhere in its history someone cut or ground down the front sight blade, how much of a hassle would it be for a gunsmith to fab a new one and would it cost more then the revolver is worth?

I wouldn't waste my time with most IJ "owl heads". I think Bubba took the advice to file off the front sight so it will not hurt as much when they shove ....0 -
Make one yourself out of a dime, or Numrich's #82 is probably same, if you want to pay that much:

(Any gunsmith that would bother would likely charge that much)0
