AR 15 bolt

Just wondering, when an ar15 is fired does its charging handle move rearward,as does a normal autoloaders bolt, when the spent shell is ejected? And if so does this pose problems for a left handed shooter?

    Are there any differences in AR-15 bolts in regards to the .223 Rem and 5.56 Nato round? Are all bolt and carriers interchangeable?

    No, there are no differences. Same carrier and bolt.

    Direct Impingement gas gun bolts and piston driven system bolts are not interchangeable either.

    A Colt DI bolt will fit in a Bushmaster DI gun, will fit in a DPMS DI gun, will fit in a BCM DI gun, etc.....

    The piston systems usually use their own bolts ( my Adams Arms upper, for example)
