These were likely made for "America Remembers", and other similar companies. Who commission these instant antiques/collectibles, from various gun manufacturers.

IMHO they would only have lasting value if actually made and cataloged by Colt. I would do as much research as possible. On the 2 actually made by Colt. To see if they were actually cataloged and sold by Colt. Or just made as special order guns, for sale by private companies.

If actually cataloged by Colt. Their condition should be NIB, with all paperwork and associated accessories that came with them from Colt.

If the 2 Colts have been fired, and don't come with all original boxes, paperwork and accessories. I would just forget about it, and used them as shooters.

How many AR's can you shoot?

But, I see why they don't "fit" for you; they are "special editions", not factory cataloged "commemoratives". They were dolled up by a third party, & sold to unsophisticated "investors" whose heirs, some day, will realize they were poor investments.

I don't know how much you have in these rifles, & really don't care to know; what you decide to do with them is your business. But, all "special editions" & "commemoratives" are worth substantially less if they are handled, or are missing the original packaging. And, AR's are currently selling at bargain prices, due to low demand & high availability. So, you aren't going to get a lot if you sell them, compared to a couple of years ago.

Good luck, your best place to sell them is the GunBroker auctions.
