1975 on the Browning. 1954 on the Smith, there also should be a "S" prefix on the serial number.
Need quality photos, for accurate identification and assessment of value.
EDIT #1,
Can't see the pics? Only thing showing is lines of computer code.
EDIT #2,
The Smith is first year of production "Highway Patrolman". Pre Model 28. Valuable collectors item. The grips aren't original though. Your photos lack clarity? If everything checks out other than the grips. You did OK, on this one.
The sights on the High Power don't appear correct to me? Looks like the adjustable rear, and higher front sight were added. If you are going to keep it as a shooter, doesn't make any difference. Selling it will be problematical, unless you can get the originals back on?0 -

Look to be good shooters to me. You established their value when you bought them. You can do an advanced search on the auction side of completed ones and see what they actually sell for on the open market. I would value them more for insurance purposes so that you could actually obtain replacements in short order rather waiting for bargains to come along. 0 -

Those are the second generation Browning adjustable factory sights [:0][^]
Check the auction side sold listings as HP,s have went through the roof price wise [B)]0 -
Yes, there is an "S" in the ser no on the smith
but it's shows this way "S 112170"
The S is spaced apart from the numerals0
