1911 World War II Commemorative

I have a 1911 World War II Commemorative .45. I believe it is different than most I have read about. I see the PTO and the ETO and some just strait WWII commemorative guns,but mine has
EUROPEAN THEATER OF OPERATIONS****PACIFIC THEATER OF OPERATIONS****CHINA,BURMA,INDIA THEATER OF OPERATIONS

I believe that this one is different .. If you know more about these guns please let me know. I was given this dun by my father who can no longer tell me about them.
Sorry cant figure out how to get a pic on here. email me if you want to see it . I would say its in 98 - 100%. But I dont really know what the difference is..

The serial # is WW0281

  It might help if you give us the serial number.
  
  And, tell us the information on the original box, especially the label on the end of the box.

  Got this off the net. It's not a commemorative made by Colt. There are a number of U.S. companies, who specialize in these limited edition guns. They wouldn't be worth as much as a commemorative, made and cataloged by Colt.

  Does Very Nice Commemorative Display mean it should not be fired.. Is it just a shelf item.. or is it considered a gun?

  As it is not a Colt and in this price range it is a shooter.
