Ruger 10/22 Mannlicher Pistol Grip Cap

I have a Ruger 10/22 mannlicher stock (made by Talo) At the bottom of the pistol grip is A Ruger logo cap. I would like to know how to remove it. Is that cap glued on, or screwed and glued on. If it is screwed on how do you access the screw?
