Anyone have any idea what this is??

  sorry..you'll have to copy/paste the entire link to see it. It looks like some sort of a pen gun made by winchester...nothing i've ever seen before..

  Looks like a pen gun to me. Could also be a lens pen.

  May be a teargas pen. Several manufacturers made them from between the wars to the late 50's/early 60s. Often .32 S&W caliber.

  I doubt that Winchester made this pen gun. I suspect that somebody used a piece of a Winchester barrel.

  Looks like one of those survival tear gas/flare gun pens made in the 60's. Also agree that it is a "made from" a Winchester barrel....

  I don't know of a brass Winchester barrel either.
  Winchester and others got into non-gun products when business was slow, but I cannot find mention of a Winchester pen gun or tear gas gun; either on the net or in Houze or Madis.
  But would you like a nice Winchester safety razor "As Good as the Gun?"

  Probably not brass, probably plated steel. A magnet would tell.

  It does not look like brass to me... looking at the picture with the Winchester marking on it, it appears to be steel with very little of the original bluing left on it.
