1976 Ruger M77 with Black butt pad

Reference GB auction number 428320249

Ths Ruger is a 200th year Liberty Model and serial is correct for that year (72-168---). However, the stock has a black buttpad. What's your take, replacement stock, replacement pad, or something else?
