I know pictures are probably needed. I would just like to know a ball park figure what they are going for. It has no blueing left that I can see. Also, since it is an antique, would it require a FFL transfer.

I'd say in the $500 range. 0 -
No FFL needed if made prior to 1898, as far as the feds are concerned. Certain States or Cities though? Might required transfer through FFL. It all depends where you live.
To me, the 1877 Colt's were always the red headed stepchild of the 19th Century, large caliber Colt revolvers. Unless they were factory original, in VG to Excellent condition. Not easy to sell. Unless you can score a super BIL deal on on it. I would pass.0 -
Check completed auctions on the other half of this website. Without any finish makes this a shooter and not a collectible for the most part. I agree with knifecollector, around $500. 0 -
That is about what I was thinking. He is asking 600.00 and I thought that was a little high.
Appreciate your answers as always.0 -
Note that these get out of order rather more than Single Actions, and that parts are hard to find. 0 -
I've had good luck finding parts @ Dixie Gun Works. Granted the parts take some fitting to make them work correctly. This was Colts first D.A. revolver and its not a very good design. 0 -
Got all the info I need to make a good decision. I have decided not to buy this gun.
