Colt 1903 - DOM?

Hello all. Could someone help me out. Looking for DOM for a Colt 1903 serial 87694. Caliber is 32 rimless. Also, I am assuming this is the type II variation correct? Thank you. - Brett.

    DOM is 1909 and, yes, it is the 2nd variation.

    Yes, 1909 is the year of manufacture. The Type IIs -- which that one is -- have some of the lowest production numbers of all the Colt 1903 types.

    Sam Lisker's site is one of the best for information on the Colt autos. This link has the production dates for serial numbers.
