Identify Leather Holster-What it Fits???

    It might be for a French Model 1892 ordnance revolver? Although the Japanese very similar holsters for some of their handguns.

    Either a GrandPa or a Pappa Nambu.

    Yep, looks Jap to me with that pancake flap. But in nice shape. Would guess Nambu.

    Do see some of these listed as for the Nambu. This one is more pointed in shape then most listed as Nambu and see much more of them listed as the Model 1892 Revolver. So is this mainly for the French Lebel and WW1 era?

    The French revolver, that was used with this holster. Is the Model 1892 ordnance revolver. The Lebel was a French military rifle. This revolver was never known as the Lebel in France, only by U.S. collectors in error.

    The Model 1892's were made in French arsenals during the 1920's. Years after the end of W W I. So in absolute terms, they wouldn't all be considered W W I handguns.
