Has anyone seen, shot, have any firsthand knowledge of this rifle? I sure don't need another c.f. rifle, but for the price, it looks like something I should have. Maybe a .270 to take into the woods on rough days when I don't feel like exposing the Sako's to bad weather or lots of rock hopping.

Contact the customer service reps at Brownells. You can get their number off the web site. Before calling them, be sure you have all your ducks in a row, vis a vis, caliber, model number, serial number, hole spacing etc. 0 -
You might also want to go to a base manufacturer like Leupold, or Weaver, and look at their charts for proper base model number. They might just be the same as the Winchester Model 70...Hint...Hint...Hint
Incase you missed the hint, they are the same as for the Winchester Model 70.
