Vintage Bausch & Lomb Repairs
My brother just bought a Mannlicher-Schoenauer 1956 that has a Bausch & Lomb 208A mounted, the scope is in need of cleaning up, does anyone know of somebody who does repairs and restoration on vintage Bausch & Lomb's from the '50's?

years ago I had some work done at the Bushnell address in So. California as they had picked up the B&L warrantee work, but I don't know if they are even still in business. 0 -
A number of scope repair firms was listed in this post a while back:

I've got it copied for when I need it. Hope it helps.

For my own info I checked the B&L repair service; as with most things from California, they've moved, it's now Bushnell Performance optics in Lenexa, Kansas. Most things are considered to have lifetime warrantees so the only cost appears to be shipping, which they list as $10 for most items. 0 -
Thanks guys, that is just what I needed
I have contacted Bushnell to see if they still are able to fix a old B&L, but I'm also going to contact the other companies listed to see if they can help.
Thanks again0 -
I had a B&L spotting scope that I sent to Bushnell for repairs. I called them first and then sent it in. They refused to work on it because it was "damaged", the paint was worn on it! They offered to take it in on trade on a new $345 scope. What a crock. I wasted my time and money dealing with them. I will never buy another Bushnell product! 0
