    Without having it researched by the Cody Firearms Museum records office, all I can tell you is that it was manufactured in May of 1888. Even with a factory letter, it is highly unlikely that it would be traceable to Ned Christie.

    When he became (mistakenly) wanted for the murder of a US Marshal in 1887 he retreated to an isolated, fortified compound surrounded by supporters, but was finally taken out using dynamite in 1892.
