Rem 11-48 stock question

I purchased an 11-48 28 ga knowing that it had a short LOP (12-3/4"), hoping that I could substitute a correct LOP stock. As you might suspect, 11-48 28 ga. stocks are impossible to find, so my question is--- will another Remington model stock fit this gun? I've posed this question on the Remington forum and have had no response. Bear in mind that the 11-48 is the last recoil-operated auto, if that makes any difference.

  1100 small frame butt stock should work.
