    $500-$550 depending what the 15% deduction is.

    I'd guess more toward $450, there are still very nice examples available and the price drops off fairly quickly as the condition decreases.

    wow I have one also but mine is a 1948 model and the guy at the gunstore wanted to offer me 75 dollars for it. thanks for the info.

    Yes I am telling it truthfull, I had a minor cashflow problem and wanted some cash in a hurry , so I took my malin and cases of ammo both 22cal and 223 cal. it sounded low so I didnt sell and the next day was payday so it worked out.

    Gents- if you want to know what a 39A sells for, forget the book value. Go to Search, Advanced Search, marlin 39A, no reserve, and see what they have sold for right here. Compare the condition of YOUR rifle to the ones that sold. I think you may be surprised.
