Value? 1992 Browning BAR 7mm MAG, NIB
As the title indicates, can any experts out there give me an approximate value on my NIB, Browning BAR 7mm Mag, Grade I, 24in barrel w/o sights, (Model AFFUT)? It was purchased new in 1992, and has been in the box ever since. Couldn't find any exactly matching this description, NIB, for sale on GB.
Thanks

Thanks

not sure of 7mm, but buddy of mine just got a 30-06 last year, slightly used, looked new for $650. 0 -
I don't think a late mk i bar has any collector value and you can buy a new mk ii bar for a little over $1000. So, I would say it's worth $700-$900. 0 -

Thank you, that's helpful. It's a beautiful gun, but one I have no real use for anymore since I no longer hunt. Guess I'll set a starting price of around $650 and a BIN of $850. The cheapest NIB BAR of any model/grade that I see on Gun Broker is $1100 (BIN) for a MKII Safari, and most are $1200-$1350. No MKIs to be seen, so I can't compare apples to apples, but I would imagine someone would scoop this up at that price.0 -
I for one would not set a BIN price on it but let the auction run it's course. You might be losing some higher bids. I don't need it but Myself and others do like the color of the Browning Wood during that time. 0
