" It has a metal band on the neck of the stock and a red rubber butt pad.".............that said, it is just an old 'shooter'...........$200/300 depending on finish remaining.

Depending on the condition, as said, around $250. I think you would find someone willing to buy it just to refinish it. I know that is sacrilege to some shooters here but it is a good way to put a nice old gun back into action. Just my opinion but nice old guns like Mod. 12, Ithaca 37, Stevens 520 etc, all steel, well finished, are 10x the shotgun that a new 870, 500, etc will ever be.

The barrel should actually be 32-inches long. The MOD choke is a bit unusual with a 32-inch barrel length.

I would not have the gun refinished, but I would find an original butt stock to replace broken & altered one. It realistically is not cost effective to completely refinish a standard Field grade Model 1912.
