Lee Hand Loader( 220 swif)Load Data.
I just acquired an old Lee Handloader for 220swift.It's the kit with everything in one little black and red box.It has a little red powder measurer/dipper marked 196 but no load charge chart.
Can someone tell me what powder was intended to be used with this kit,I will be using a 55gr bullet?
LEE no longer sells load charge charts for kits out of production.
THANKS,Redtail

You should have a 167 scoop with your kit. this will give you 36gr. of imr3031 and 37gr of imr 4350.

This is a sold item and the link is posted so you can check out the picture of the instruction sheet.0 -
I have the Lee Improved Powder Measure Kit with 15 dippers and their tables. 1.90 and 2.20 are the closest I can get to yours (1.96?)
added I guess the none decimal numbered dippers are not the volume in cc's.
Neither one of mine come close to throwing a correct charge of any IMR powder listed in my Hornady loading book for a 55 gr bullet in a 220 Swift.
I would just make your own dipper for the charge and powder of choice.
Given the limited powder availability I would try for H380 or W760 first.0 -
I found the information I needed on the auction side. The seller of a 220 swift kit included a picture of the load chart that clearly shows the data I needed.
Thank you all.
PS>I now have the correct#167 powder measurer(scoop)0
