    Any possibility that the number 7, isn't actually a 1, or a 2?

    Generally when bullet molds are identified with hyphenated numbers. The number after the dash is the nominal weight of the cast bullet.

    Is that a Modern Bond mold?
    If so, the second part of the designation is the LENGTH of the bullet.
    I cannot find mention of a 358 743 but a 358 742 is a 160 grain roundnose.

    Thanks Hawk. It is a Modern Bond mold. It is listed as model 358-743and the picture shows it is a RN. Perhaps there's a typo in the number.
