Ultrasonic Cleaner Solution
Just bought a Harbor Freight unit with the heater. Curious as to what others are using for cleaning solution for brass and other cleaning of miscellaneous stuff.

50/50 mix water and white vinegar with a few drops of dishwashing liquid. After ultrasonic cleaning, drop into a container of water with a little baking soda to neutralize the vinegar. Rinse thoroughly. 0 -
what is the outcome when used on brass,, 0 -
?? Cleans the brass, inside and out, including the primer pockets (pretty well). Lay it on an old towel for a couple of days to air dry, or put on a flat pan, low heat, in the oven for 30 minutes to dry more quickly.
May experience some water spotting/discoloration... but its clean and reloadable.0 -
Hornady One-Shot works well but kinda pricy - $ 25/quart Vinegar is way cheaper [:D] 0
