winchester 42 pigeon ?
Im looking at purchasing a winchester 42 pigeon grade,but have some concerns.
The serial# 84668 placing it around 1949,been told it was engraved by Nick kusmit. But the info I have been able to find he didnt start doing engraving for winchester till around 1951.
Next concern is it has double diamond deluxe wood,from what I have been able to fine pigeon grade had its own style of wood.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
