Eagle 45ACP Carbine Assembly Question
Hello All;
A buddy got an Eagle .45 carbine (in pieces) Pretty simple, mostly straight forward, very few parts......BUT
Can't figure out how to get the trigger mechanism working. It came assembled as shown. Seems like there may be a spring missing (doesn't seem to be anything putting forward pressure on the trigger itself to return it)
If anyone has any experience with these I'd appreciate some guidance.
Thanks

If this is the Eagle carbine that fires from an open bolt, beware....
These were sold back in the 1960's when ATF determined that they could be made to fire FA by setting the safety between the 'safe' and 'fire' positions..........They were classified as machineguns and subject to NFA tax and registration.....0 -
the Eagle Gun Co open-bolt semi (Mk II) is not a NFA weapon, although it, along with the Demro Tac-1, Wasp, Fox Tri-C, Volunteer Arms and RPB open-bolt semi firearms, were banned from "future manufacture" back in the late 70's early 80's. All are legal to own today.
HiCap47 is referring to the Spitfire open-bolt semi Carbine that was re-classified to a NFA weapon back in the late 1970's.
Back to your question Riflewerks, looks like you've got a Eagle Gun Co Mk3 or Mk4 since your lower receiver appears to attach to a square bolt-tube?

You're missing two coil springs, one in the front and another that goes around the roll pin in rear. Is this a screw on takedown or a solid barrel into receiver? 0 -
Solid.
Any chance you'd know where we could get a diagram or picture? I'm sure manuals on these are pretty scarce, if they ever existed. He searched for quite a while before I posted here.
Thanks for the interest.0 -
