Remington buttstock interchangibility
I recently purchased a near-mint 28 ga. M 11-48, knowing that the gun was ordered with a short stock for a youngster/woman. I've never owned or shot a 28 ga. gun, and thought it would be a fun piece to dove hunt/ skeet shoot with, but the LOP is only 12-3/4" OVER a pad, and I need a standard LOP.
My question--- given that the 11-48 is the last recoil-operated gun, is there another Remington buttstock that will fit this 28 ga gun?

Somewhere in my illogical stash I have a 16 ga org stock, that was my Dad's, when I went to gunsmith school restocked, if I can dig it up I'll send you pics with a scale for measure, don't know, would think frame size smaller?? Please advise?? 0 -
Harley, I think the 16 is larger, but if you find it please measure across the head of the stock, horizontally and vertically.
