H&R M48 Topper Firing pin.
I have an old H&R 12 gauge, paid $30 for it. Stock is broken off and piece of metal which it attaches too is also broken. Guy told me it fired but upon closer inspection its missing the block/ firing pin so that was a flat out lie. Any way is it even worth fixing or is it just trash?

Sure it's worth fixing. You can probably find a used stock online, make a firing pin, and weld the tang . Just don't pay someone to do it for you, then the price would likely be more than the guns worth. 0 -
+1 Knifecollector You can make make/buy/fix an existing pin. Transfer bar if that the problem is much easier to buy (not sure yours has one).

The stock Choate is nice. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/956614/h-and-r-handi-grip-stock-and-forend-h-and-r-rifle-polymer-black?cm_vc=ProductFinding
My first 12 gauge was a Topper. It still in the family. My last season hunting with it I could limit out on pass shooting doves with less than a box of shells. They are very light and handy single shots. They will also beat you with heavy loads. My current version is an 88 in 3" mag cut back to a 20" tube with screw in chokes. At the trap range I once did 25/25 with it, more often 21 or 22/25 (I have issues with straight aways - no real bird flyies that way).0
