    Best to post quality photos of the conversion. There have been so many .22 conversions made in the last 30 years. Hard to keep track of them.

    My WAG, it might be one of the ones made by the late Bob Day. He had made conversions in at least 2 different generations, starting in the 70's. Prior to his untimely death, in a plane crash in the early 2000's.

    Here is a photo I got off the net of one of his 30X conversions.

    EDIT #1, Kart also made a conversion? As shown in this photo below. I had heard years ago that Kart dropped the conversations, to concentrate on making barrels. Maybe some of his were later sold, under a different name?

    The top Picture is a DAY 30 X it can be recognized by the magazine insert . that fits INSIDE any standard 1911 type magazine . The Kart is Made by Fred Kart and is not currently Produced Kart makes 1911 Match grade barrel and some of the best barrels money can buy for Bulls-Eye shooting. The karts were marked different ways at different times and the first ones were modified Colt 22 Conversion slides. I have a number of each type.
