REM. 1100 stock size question

hello, I have a LW 28 gauge 1100 that I need a stock for. a promenant gunsmith in my area assures me that a 20 gauge LW is the same size frame as the 28's and 410. but not the standard 20. now, if so, only thing I can find is a LW 20 gauge magnum stock. if standard LW does fit then I assume the only difference in the magnum stock would be the butt pad? does anyone have first hand knowledge concerning my stock issue? thanks for helping.

  IIRC, the 12 fits only the 12..the 16 and lt-20 /lw-20 fit each other and the 28 & 410 are interchangeable... someone correct me if I am mistaken...
