1892 threaded muzzle

I have a 1892 winchester in 25-20 1/2 mag TD. It was made in 1908. It has a threaded muzzle with a removable thread protector. Does anyone have any information on the threaded muzzle ? I realize it's for a suppressor but how many did winchester make ? Since it's past 380,000 serial # there should be no record at Cody. Thanks for the help. - Bertman

  Hello Bertman,
  
  I have looked at over 270,000 Model 1892 ledger entries and have not come across any that list the barrel being threaded for a Maxim silencer.
