11-87 slug barrel parts
I have an 11-87 with a rifle slug barrel and the cantilever scope mount.....the weapon was stolen and I just received it back but there is no scope base on it now...trying to see if I can find one to replace it....the barrel is made by Remington from the 80's. Has 3 dove tails 1small 1larger and then 1small with a screw in front of and behind each small dove tail (total of 4 screws) I'm not sure how to post a pic of it thank you all

Just a guess.
I think someone (the thief) drilled and tapped it for two piece mounts.
Those early barrels had long flimsy cantilevers.
You would need a long eye relief scope but might find bases and rings
That would work?0 -
That is all factory for the mount 0 -
I remember them. They attached with 4 screws and had a male dove tail that fit to the barrel. There was a rubber bumper that touched the receiver. The used rings that were narrower than Weaver style rings.
