"Flayderman's Guide", has a very small section them. Few were made in 1870's/80's. His values in the latest 9th edition, range from $450 in Good condition. To $900, in Fine condition. 0 -
According to information contained in my referenceE"The Breech Loading Shotgun In America 1865 to 1940" written by the late shotgun researcher and writer Mr.Joseph T. Vorisek you are describing a Three Trigger Model Hammer Double made in 10 or 12 gauge with 30 or 32 inch Twist or Laminated barrels. The gun was also available with one rifle barrel and one shotgun barrel, the rifle barrel was in either .38 or .44 caliber. The gun was made from 1876 to 1884. While I have never seen one or read any further description, I would guess that the two triggers acted as normal, one firing either barrel and the third trigger or front trigger was the break open lever. Also can't offer a guess on value, It would depend on how badly a collector would want the gun. Also Stevens serial number-year made records were lost long ago in a fire so there is no way to tell what year the gun was made. 0
