Need Help Dating a BT-99 Commemorative
I have been shooting this trap gun for a week or so & I'm trying to decide if I want to buy it.
It is an Illinois DNR/ World Shooting Complex gun. One side has Illinois Dept. Of Natural Resources & other has World Shooting & Recreational Complex (Sparta) on it. Bottom says 1 of 35.
The serial number is supposed to have a code for the manufacture date, but this one is weird. It says GR10035WSC.
Anyone know what year this thing was made? I think the complex was built in 2006, so it would probably be after that.

Might consider calling the customer service folks, at Browning. They have a extensive web site, with many pages, dig through them for the phone #.
Couple of years ago I had a question regarding a U.S. made Challenger II pistol. I was referred to one of their very knowledgeable CS people. He got back to me the same day. After I left him a message on his answering machine.0 -
GR10035WSC = grade 1, 35th gun made (last one because only 35 made), world shooting complex commemorative. 2006 was the year all 35 we made for Zanders in Illinois. 0
