Perhaps 32 ACP or the metric designation 7.65(x17) Browning

added The blue reference above book lists the model 8 as .320 revolver and models 9 and 10 as 32 ACP. I think the 32 S&W is rimmed and the 32 ACP is semi rimmed. I think their is enough difference they don't normally interchange. A 38 ACP and a 38 Super are the same case loaded to way different pressures.

I do have calipers. From the specs off a google search on 32 acp the dimension are very close if not dead on to 32 s&w ammo. So i highly doubt the little gun chambers 32 acp. Im leaning toward it being a 7.7mm swiss. But how do i determine the correct ammo?

There was a European revolver cartridge. Called the 320 Revolver. It's dimensions from COW are.

    Overall Length, = .900

    Case Length, = .620

    Rim Diameter, = .350

    Base Diameter, = .322

    Neck Diameter, = .320

    Bullet Diameter,= .317

If its chambered for 320 can the cylinder be opened up to accept the 32 s&w?

The .320 European Revolver cartridge crosses over to .32 Short Colt. It is smaller in diameter than the .32 S&W.

Using the data from COW. Measure the cylinder with your calipers. See how close these dimensions are to the 32 Short Colt that 11b6r, referred to. If you luck out the 32 Short Colt, might work in your Arminius?

Winchester still loads .32 Short Colt- once in a while. So does Buffalo Bore- once in a while. Not a very common round.

    It could go either way.
Looking in Zhuk and Alfa, later types were in 7.65/.32 ACP, older models were in .320 Revolver, very close to .32 Colt.
The 1911 Alfa catalog has pages and pages of both.

The Europeans seemed not to build a lot of .32 S&Ws.

If it won't chamber .32 S&W then it won't likely chamber .32 ACP and is probably a .320.

They make some .32 Short Colt every once in a while.

Rechambering to .32 S&W might be a little sporty, bullet/barrel diameter differ.

From the gun specs .320 should chamber. So i assume the 32 short Colt as well? I need a single 32 short Colt round to try.
