Encore won't cock!
Just bought a used encore frame. (looks like new) but it won't cock. The hammer pulls back about 50% and the trigger moves some. But that's it. It won't go all the way to cock. Maybe someone else has had this problem. Thanks

IIRC (and if I'm wrong someone will be along to correct me) but you need to have the barrel on the frame. 0 -

Glad the problem was solved amd Mike knows everything there is to know about the T/C platform. I have his springs - trigger, mainspring and locking bolt - on all my T/C frames & barrels. Just curious, what did he advise? I know folks from time to time have a problem with a barrel that won't lock up tight enough to work the safety lever.0 -
someone had worked on it and didn't get it back right.(maybe that's why they sold it) With Mikes help it now works fine! Thanks again Mike 0
